Through 2011, spending for local online advertising will grow at a faster rate than either national advertising or total online advertising, making it a key growth area in a maturing Internet ad space.

While Search Engine Marketing is growing tremendously, it is not without it’s challenges:

Sponsored Search is not a “set it and forget it” type technology. A successful campaign requires constant adjustment and analysis due to the very dynamic environment of the Sponsored Search marketplace. While your ranking might be #1 or #2 today, tomorrow you might be # 47 without consistent attention to your campaign.
The learning curve is steep.
